Since January 2008, Scripture Mission has been running a local Christian FM Radio in partnership with TransWorld Radio, Kenya. SIFA FM is the name of the Radio, and is an answer to many years of prayer in Scripture Mission.

The Radio is located at Scripture Mission, Voi- 350km South East of Nairobi. The 600w transmitter is on the highest peak in the region and covers a 250 km radius of strong signal area.

Being situated in the Coast Province of Kenya, Sifa FM covers a big portion of the Muslim concentration in Kenya, including the major towns along the coast. The potential audience is estimated at 3 million, and includes people groups that are basically 100% Muslim. Scripture Mission runs a 3hour-broadcast block daily, which translates to 36 twenty- minutes’ evangelism and discipleship programs per week. 6 programs out these are specifically targeted to Muslim listeners.

TransWorld Radio, takes the rest of the time with local programs and a satellite Radio from Transworld Radio, South Africa. All together Sifa FM runs 24hours of Gospel and socio-economic broadcast daily.

Gospel Music Production
The Sound Studio at Scripture Mission has a state of the heart facility for analogue and Digital audio recording and production. Hundreds of local groups have recorded their music in this studio over the years. Recently the studio acquired a Digital Multi-track sound card enabling us to conveniently record both large groups and single artists. The goal of our sound studio is to help you record your music first for ministry purposes, but still music that will compete well in the market.
